Welcome to VoiceExpense, developed by Crealick. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our Android application.

Google API Limited Use Disclosure

🔒 How VoiceExpense Uses Google APIs

VoiceExpense's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements.

VoiceExpense requests Google account access solely to provide backup and restore functionality for your local expense data using your own Google Drive storage. This is the only purpose for which Google user data is requested or used.

VoiceExpense does not use Google user data to serve advertisements, does not share Google user data with third parties, and does not use Google user data for any purpose beyond the backup and restore feature described above.

1. Information We Collect

Voice Input

VoiceExpense allows users to create expense and income entries using voice commands.

Audio may be processed through your device's speech recognition service.
Voice recordings are not permanently stored by VoiceExpense.
Only the converted text is saved as an expense or income record.

Financial Data

The app may store the following locally on your device:

Expense and income records
Categories and notes entered by users
Application settings

2. Local Data Storage

VoiceExpense follows an offline-first approach. All your financial records are stored locally on your device. We do not automatically upload your financial data to any server owned by Crealick.

3. Google Drive Backup

If you choose to enable the backup feature, VoiceExpense uses the Google Drive drive.appdata scope to store a backup file in a private, app-specific folder in your Google Drive account.

This folder is hidden from your normal Google Drive file list.
Only VoiceExpense can access files in this folder.
No other files in your Google Drive are accessed, read, or modified.
You may restore your data from this backup at any time.
You may disable automatic backups at any time from within the app.
You may delete your backup data directly from Google Drive settings.

Crealick does not have access to your Google Drive files beyond the drive.appdata scope explicitly granted by you.

4. Permissions Used

Microphone Permission

Used only for voice-based expense and income entry.

Internet Permission

Used for Google Drive backup and restore when enabled by you.

Notification Permission (Optional)

Used for backup reminders and notifications if enabled.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We do not share your financial records with third parties except when required by law.

Google user data received through Google APIs is not shared with any third party for any purpose.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

7. Children's Privacy

VoiceExpense is not directed toward children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Third-Party Services

The application uses the following third-party services, which operate under their own privacy policies:

Google Drive API (for optional backup only)
Google Sign-In
Google Play Services

9. Your Rights

Delete your data from the application at any time.
Disable automatic backups at any time from within the app.
Remove backup files from Google Drive via Google Drive settings.
Revoke Google account access at any time via your Google account settings.
Uninstall the application at any time.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
