VoiceExpense follows an offline-first approach. All financial records are stored locally on the user's device. The app works fully without an internet connection. A Google account is not required to use the app.
VoiceExpense requests access to your Google account for one reason only: to let you back up and restore your local expense data using your own Google Drive storage.
When you enable backup, the app saves a single backup file into a private, app-specific folder in your Google Drive that is not visible to other apps or users. No other data is read or written.
